Well… They just so happen to be one of the most successful Rock groups of recent history. Also known as ‘Chili Peppers’ or ‘RHCP’ for short, they often fall under the category of Funk-Rock due to there heavy blend of the two genres.

Having released 10 studio albums since 1984, The Peppers were entered into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame in a 2012 ceremony alongside the likes of; ‘The Beastie Boys’, ‘Guns ‘n’ Roses’ and ‘The Small Faces’ amongst others. Red Hot Chili Peppers have also received a total of 16 awards and 65 nominations including a total seven Grammy Awards.

The cover is designed in a very sleek and minimalistic style (something that goes hand-in-hand with The Red Hot Chilli Peppers). On the front is the band with Anthony Kiedis being the main focal point of the photograph, which makes sense given that he is the lead singer and most recognised face.

RHCP is an abbreviation of their full title (Red Hot Chili Peppers) and is used through various forms of media as well as official merchandise. To team this with the simplicity of the logo, an asterix drawn by Anthony Kiedis, they fitted together very well. Condensing them into the bottom left corner allows the main image to become the emphasise of the cover.

The spine is in the same shade of red that is used throughout along with the books title and their logo sitting just above.

Each band members name is designed in a unique font to showcase their own personal traits.

Anthony Kiedis – Laid-back and somewhat disjointed

Flea – Un-uniformed to the world and unique

Chad Smith – The most complete out of all the members

Josh Klinghoffer – Childish (which is acceptable given his young age in comparison)
